Concluding Day 1 of the Madelyn Amelia Experience

Quick update on what's happened in the last 24 hours. . .

Madelyn herself (on Day 1 at least) seems to be continuing the theme of her arrival -- crying only for a moment here and there, spending the rest of her wakening time moving her eyes around trying to figure out the world around while also making clicking sounds when she's about to spit up. She's also passed all the standard medical tests given to this point without issue while also being a constant source of amusement to all involved.

Simply put -- everybody's still awesome and we're solving the typical first-day newborn challenges of disrupted sleep cycles and taking care of a poop machine.

Some pictures of the day are below. More to come. . .
Sleeping in the hospital bassinet, wrapped up tight in her blanket

Wrapped up tight in her swaddle, reacting to something (I probably said) with an appropriate facepalm
